I am so proud of the boys and girls this past week. They are learning routines in the classroom and the hall and they are doing a super job!! We had our first fire drill last week and the students were awesome!! They followed all the school rules going outside and coming back in from the fire drill.
This week, we will continue to learn to identify the value of coins and their names in math. We will finish reading assessments this week and begin reading groups after Labor Day. We continue to work on writing a story in Writing. The students are also reviewing letter sounds, short vowel sounds and punctuation when writing. We are beginning to identify nouns and verbs in our sentences and stories.
Homework will be:
Monday- Coins
Tuesday- Coins
Wednesday- No homework
Thursday- Lesson 1 Count On
Friday- Happy Weekend! No school Monday
